Darien is the Diocesan Director of Campus Ministry. He was appointed to that role in July 2023 after serving as the Assistant Diocesan Director of Campus Ministry since fall 2018. Before coming to the Diocese of Charlotte, he worked in campus ministry at Clemson University, St. Cloud State University, and Virginia Tech. He has a Master’s degree in Religious Education from Fordham University,  and a Bachelor’s in History and Religion from Syracuse University.
